"Beware of false prophets....." Mathew 7:15

A massage by Bishop Nicolaus Nsanganzelu - ELCT/NWD  Synod 2025.
Bishop Nicolaus Nsanganzelu of ELCT, Mbulu Diocese, while giving his speech on the General Assembly (Synod) of the North Western Diocese has warned church believers  on emphasis that false prophets have been increasing in number within and among the holy church and the community of christians.
He further said that these prophets are not easily recognised as they hide in the face of truth. And sometimes they, too, don't understand that they are of untrue teachings of the word of God as their pretence is similar to the truth which he said it is of a negative impact to today's church of God.
He also explained that the difference in acceptance regionally, culturally, and theologically on the word of God has contributed to failure rebuking false teachings. This pressure, on the other end, has influenced different interpretations and, at other times, led to false teachings without even noticing themselves.
In this standard, he has suggested that the Church conduct initiative meetings that will officially rebuke and announce against false prophets and teachings. These meetings should be of the agenda on explaining vividly on: Who a false prophets is. What false teachings are, and what is the difference of true and false teachings.
He emphasized that this way will help preachers and teachers of the Word asses, correct and serve the Church honestly before God.
The Bishop has explained vividly that the Bible has spoken of the false prophet as one who comes with a different spirit than that of Christ. His life and teachings are opposite to the word of God. He also said that these people use the mind, psychology, and the weakness of the believers as the capital of control over them.
