Church Members Cherish and Appreciate the diocesan Pastoral Visit in Kusini A
From 21st to 23rd March, 2025 all pastors (except retired ones) were sent by the bishop to visit church members in the Kusini A deanery. Over 100 pastors from all parishes, institutions and head office visited to congregations, cell groups and families.
They mobilized church members to attend sunday services, to make preparations for the upcoming general assembly, led bible studies, conducted cpunselling sessions and finally led the sunday serivce with liturgy, sermons and Eucharist.
The visitation was baded on a biblical verse from James 4: 8 which insists believers to be closer to their creator and saviour Jesus Christ.
Pastors from each deanery were engaged in a parish so that they were able to cover so many areas and pay sisitation.
The parishes that were covered include Ihangiro, Bwoga, Biirabo, Bugarama, Rwantege, Buganguzi, Mushabago and Rwigembe.
Church members in those parishes in their congregations hosted the pastors and appreciated the entire visitation strategy. They were very happy to listen to pastors and hold conversations from them.
The district Pastor Rev Valence Basibila said “this visitation in our district has aroused a new spirit of being closer to our God” He registered a vote of thanks to the bishop for such a strategic visit which is so important in the life of the church.
