Leadership And Administration Orientation Seminar Of NWD Held In Bukoba
A leadership and administration orientation seminar organized by the leadership of the North Western Diocese of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania (NWD) brought together Heads of Stations, Programs, Departments, and Units from 13th to 16th January 2026 at the ELCT Bukoba Hotel & Tours Hall, Bukoba Municipality.
While presenting a topic during the seminar, the Bishop of NWD, Dr. Abednego Keshomshahara, urged leaders to strengthen good relationships between leaders and employees, emphasizing leadership that upholds ethics, respect, and cooperation.
In addition, the Assistant Bishop of NWD, Dean Prof. Josephat Rweyemamu, presented a topic on appropriate ethics in the leadership and administration of church institutions and services, calling upon leaders to uphold integrity and accountability in their responsibilities.
Furthermore, issues related to planning and resources were emphasized when CPA Paul Simon delivered a presentation on the preparation of budgets in accordance with church guidelines, encouraging leaders to ensure discipline in financial management.
Participants also received various other presentations, including strategic leadership, revisions of financial and asset policies, retirement preparation, management of reserve funds, as well as professional photography skills and information dissemination.
The seminar was attended by the Bishop of NWD together with Heads of Stations, Programs, Departments, and Units from different areas of the North Western Diocese, and it aimed at strengthening leaders in the effective implementation of their duties.
