Bugabo Zone Men’s Festival Strengthens Faith and Unity

The Men’s Festival of the Bugabo Zone in the Eastern Church District of the ELCT North Western Diocese has been hailed as a platform for strengthening faith, unity, and responsibility among men in the Church and society.

Speaking during the event held at Kaagya Congregation, Bishop Dr. Abednego Keshomshahara urged men to stand firm in faith, remain devoted to prayer, and lead their families according to Christian values.

He encouraged them to emulate the perseverance and faithfulness of Job amid life’s challenges.

The Bishop also called on men to actively participate in the spiritual and developmental work of the Church, emphasizing their vital role in building strong families, the Church, and society.

Meanwhile, the General Secretary of the North Western Diocese, Rev. Dr. Elmereck Kigembe, encouraged men to work diligently and use the gifts God has entrusted to them for the growth of their families and the Church, while maintaining unity and accountability in their areas of service.

The festival brought together hundreds of worshippers and featured choir performances, poetry, and friendly competitions, fostering fellowship and unity among participants.

It is expected to continue serving as a catalyst for greater participation, accountability, and spiritual growth among men within the Diocese.
